About HCI
Heiberg Consulting, Inc. provides information technology
services to small and medium sized companies across the
Northern Front Range as well as
student tracking
software to institutions of higher education across the
country.
Experience includes working with Hewlett Packard, the
United States Center for Disease Control, Xcel Energy,
National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and over 500
institutions of higher education from coast to coast.
Having worked together for over ten years, we pride
ourselves on cooperation, integration, and the ability
to produce work beyond the sum of its parts. HCI is
able to provide a balanced approach to any business
problem or environment and implement an effective solution.
HCI is very proud to be serving a wide range of clients
from a number of industries, in addition to providing
products and services to the educational community.
History and Mission
HCI was incorporated in 1996 by David Heiberg and Tony
Golobic. HCI's mission is to build long-term
partnerships with small to medium sized businesses by
delivering software and computing solutions
cost-effectively and reliably with high responsive
service.
Executive Bios
David Heiberg, President
David co-founded HCI
along with Vice President Tony Golobic in 1996. Prior
to HCI, David served as System Consultant, Business
Manager at Cumulus Internet Services, LLC. David has
always liked the idea of working for himself and has
experience as an Independent Consultant performing
work for companies such as Hewlett Packard and Heska
Corporation. He has also held various IT positions at
The HELP/Success Center, Office of International
Programs and the Academic Advancement Center at
Colorado State University. These work experiences have
given him extensive knowledge in application and
database development, networking and Microsoft
Software.
David received his B.S. in Business Administration and his M.S. in Computer
Information Systems from Colorado State University in
Fort Collins. He is currently a member of the Fort
Collins Telecommunications Board. He has been quoted
in the Fort
Collins Coloradoan, Northern Colorado Business Report
and Computer World magazine for his experience as a young
entrepreneur.
Tony
Golobic, Vice President
Tony co-founded the
company in 1996 with President David Heiberg and has
served as Vice President since its inception. Tony
served as Research Assistant at Engineering Research
Center as well as Database/Computer Manager at the
Academic Advancement Center at Colorado State
University prior to HCI. He also worked at the
Engineering College at CSU as Interim Director of the
Engineering Network Services Department.
He has developed skills
in the documentation and support of databases, and has
experience as a Computer Consultant, Operations
Manager Assistant, and Mechanical Engineer Associate
at various companies.
Tony received his B.S.
in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State
University in Fort Collins.
